Katalina Upumoni Pio Independent Marriage Celebrant
I’m a friendly, compassionate celebrant with experience working with people from all different cultures and beliefs. I am based in the Horowhenua-Wellington region and can travel to destinations within New Zealand to officiate your wedding.
Committed to delivering a high standard of professional and ethical service, ensuring your ceremony is nothing short of exceptional.
I am dedicated to building relationships. Take the time to understand each couple's preferences, sense of humour and what you are truly after for your special day. Making sure your ceremony is both memorable and enjoyable for all.
I am here for you, to listen and provide support and make your wedding ceremony everything you are after personalising as much or as little as you would like. Offering calmness, attention to detail, and arriving well prepared and organised for your ceremony.
Making sure your ceremony is sincere and a meaningful occasion where your love story is delivered with the personal touches you deserve.
When I am not holding ceremonies, you can catch me:
• Baking homemade goods to share with friends and family.
• Getting lost in a good book or K-drama.
• Outdoors on walking tracks, beach or fishing.
• DIY projects with my husband.
• Spending quality time with my nephews and nieces who bring me joy and of course our German Sheppard Juke.

This package is perfect for those who want a small personalised ceremony, with assistance with writing your vows, suitable for smaller gatherings.
I will prepare a draft ceremony script and fine tune it together, with you adding your own vows and any other personal touches

The Custom fit package is a designed celebration where I will work closely with you to design a one-of-a-kind ceremony to showcase your love story. Your ceremony will reflect you perfectly to reflect your wishes.
You may for instance have readings, scriptures, music you would like to use, if not I am happy to assist and support you through
The Custom fit package is a designed celebration where I will work closely with you to design a one-of-a-kind ceremony to showcase your love story. Your ceremony will reflect you perfectly to reflect your wishes.
You may for instance have readings, scriptures, music you would like to use, if not I am happy to assist and support you through writing your vows or finding the perfect poem or scripture to fit seamlessly into your ceremony.
I will provide a questionnaire for you to complete which will help me draft the perfect script for you that we will fine tune together. You will be in control over what is being said on your special day.
This package includes unlimited consultation and assistance with ceremony preparations, questions and any queries you may have. A rehearsal is also held before your wedding to ensure everything is smooth on the day.
